Lynn Mayya is a Syrian born multimedia and audiovisual artist currently based in Linz, Austria, where she studies Time Based and Interactive Media Art at Kunstuniversität Linz. Her work draws from avant garde movements and minimalist aesthetics, while exploring radical social and political themes.
With an experimental approach, Lynn merges art, technology and contemporary politics to create immersive interactive experiences that challenge perceptions and invite reflection. Through her work, she opens spaces for dialogue around urgent societal issues, encouraging audiences to question, feel and engage.
Her work and ideas have reached audiences at festivals and exhibitions across Europe, including the LPM Festival 2023 in Münster, Kunstuniversität Linz’s Best Off and Rundgang exhibitions, Tribsees Exhibitions in Germany, Kisfaludy 2023 in Sümeg, Hungary and Ars Electronica Festival 2024.
